Terms and Condition of MaxRock Studios Ltd (MaxRock)

Booking and payment:

You are booking a weekly course, paid monthly at £75.00 per calendar month for Group lessons, or £175.00 per month for 1-1 lessons. This is paid in advance on the 1st of each month.

A normal calendar month will have between 4 and 5 lessons. If we start a course part way through a month and there are only 2 lessons remaining, your first bill will be for just 2 lessons and on the 1st of the following month we will send a bill for the number of lessons due in the forthcoming month. This may vary due to school holidays as we often change the programme during term breaks.

All sessions must be pre-booked online and the first instalment paid for in full prior to the start of the course.

Confirmation of your booking will be emailed to you.

Cancellation or pausing:

We require 21 days notice on any cancellation, This must be sent by email to bookings@maxrock.co.uk . Any non-attendance without 21 days written notice will be chargeable.

Refunds are not given for cancellations or for missed session(s). We offer ‘catch up’ video lessons free of charge and you will be offered these. Please speak to a tutor regarding access to these video lessons.

In the unlikely event that we have to cancel a session, the session will either be made up or a refund given.

August Break

We pause all billing in August and will bill for any lessons taken during that month on a week by week basis.

Communication

We send all communication by email and it is your responsibility to provide us with a current email address and to check that our emails arrive in your inbox.

Sickness:

You must refrain from bringing your child to class if they have had any form of illness. Video lessons will be offered to you if this occurs.

 Late collection:

It is the responsibility of the parent/carer to collect their child/children promptly at the end of each session. Failure to do so will result in a financial penalty for the parent/carer. If a parent/ carer is late to collect more than once, such a penalty will be charged at the rate of £5 per 15 minutes per child.

 Special Needs and Medical Conditions:

You must inform us of any special needs and/or medical issues that your child has.

 Grounds for Exclusion:

We reserve the right to exclude any child if they display persistently poor behaviour (which includes but is not limited to) disruptive or dangerous behaviour or behaviour which affects the enjoyment of the other children.

General:

We are not responsible for any loss or damage to personal items.

We shall not be liable for any direct or indirect loss suffered by a parent/ carer as a result of the cancellation of a session(s).

If a child is removed from a club, due to behaviour(either persistent, or 3 strikes), there will be no refund for the remainder of the course.

Payments will be returned if a class has to be cancelled due to minimum numbers not being achieved.

MaxRock or any of our staff are not responsible for any loss or injury during the class.

MaxRock reserves the right to remove from our programme, without refund, anyone who is found to be bullying, misbehaving or displaying disruptive behaviour.

Photography and Video:

You must declare if you do not want your child to be photographed for marketing use and keep us up-to-date should this change using the given email address or phone number.
